Samarths Time Management
As a student nowadays, especially as an international student in London, I need to manage my time wisely and use my time in such a way that I am able to balance my academic life, which is being in college attending classes, being at home cooking, or even travelling and enjoying myself. As an international student combining my multiple duties in London, efficient time management has been critical. With a schedule that includes six hours of study, 1and a half hour of travel, and cooking, I've had to devise techniques to maximise my time and guarantee that all of my chores are performed properly.
Caroline, our term 1 instructor, educated
us about managing our time. She even provided me a time management chat as an
activity, which surprised me, but then I began adhering to the time management
chat that I had established in the shape of a task.
As stated by George in 2012 "Having a defined daily pattern is one part
of managing one's time", that I discover useful. I was able to prioritise my
duties while making the greatest use of my free time by setting particular time
periods for various pursuits such as taking courses, travelling to work, and
cooking. This method helps me retain discipline and guarantees that key chores
are not overlooked.
In addition, I've learnt the value of
setting realistic objectives and deadlines. I can handle larger jobs more
successfully and prevent becoming stressed by dividing them into smaller,
digestible bits. This method enables me to make continuous advancement and keep
on target with my objectives.
However, time management is a difficulty for overseas students. It might be difficult to manage academic responsibilities, travel time, and food preparation. Unexpected occurrences or new tasks have occasionally upset my intended timetable, necessitating flexibility and adaptability. Prioritisation and good making decisions became even more important at the moment.
Focusing on managing my time has given me
important life skills including determination, preparation, and flexibility.
These abilities will not only help me in my present circumstances, but will
also be useful in the future in my social as well as personal life. By
successfully organising my time, I was able to strike a balance between
academic obligations, wellness, and social events, so improving my general
well-being and efficiency. Now I make sure to get at least seven hours of
sleep. Some days are outliers. Previously, I spent my leisure time exclusively
searching the internet and using Instagram But now I know how to manage my time
and make place for everything, such as doing my academic tasks on the train
while travelling, enabling me to spend additional time at home..
Finally, time management is critical for an
international student in London juggling study, journey, and food. I was able
to effectively handle my time and perform my duties by using organised
schedules, target planning, and flexibility. This technique has provided me
with vital skills while also improving my general efficiency and happiness. In
the future, I plan to improve my time management methods in order to maximise
the effectiveness while maximising the most of my foreign student experience in
London. Now that I've set up my time management programme, I'm able to sleep
well, do my homework, and enjoy my life.
My daily schedule is outlined below
